I'm working on two books right now, a children's story and a semi-autobiographical novel, and contemplating a third, non-fiction work about the irresponsibility of our culture in these times. I have two small children and often stay up late, after they have gone to sleep, trying to write. The other night, the words would not come:

Today my husband and I had a friend over in the afternoon for a couple beers. It was like 100 in the shade so we sat on our lower deck, in the Candy Bouncer chairs. After Michael left, husband said, "Nice way to flash beaver at our guest!" WTF????? I was wearing a skirt, sitting in a retro metal lawn chair on a hot day, tending to two sometimes needy toddlers. Ummmmm.... you could have given me a heads up!

So, I was curious to see just what Michael may have SEEN!

The road to Fitness is long and sweaty. After a too long stop at the rest area I am back on the highway. Here I am after yesterday's leg of the journey. A little closer to my destination.

Okay, so I had this idea that I would simulate synchronized swimming or something like that. Didn't work out. This pic is just WEIRD! Where are my 34Ds? Why is my tummy so pudgy? Ah, swirling water! Look how muscular two toddlers make one! Happy HNT all -- I had higher hopes... time constraints...

Today I went to the U-pick farm to pick berries to make jam. I picked 8 quarts of the sweet delights. Alas, I forgot my sunscreen!

It's late. The girls are finally asleep. They have been uber clingy and it has been ultra hot all day. I haven't felt well. I have mosquito bites that are itching me insane. I feel wrung out and wasted. So, this is me tonight -- I think the tired shows on body as well as it would my face. Happy HNT to all and to all a good night!

I well know that HNT is not about mommy blogging but, alas, I am a mommy and sometimes that defines me. My younger daughter turned two last week and is still nursing. My older, three and a half, nursed until she was 12 months. If you add that up, I have been a milk machine for 3 of the last 3.5 years. I love my breasts. I have always loved my breasts. But, experiencing them nourishing and comforting my children has given me a new appreciation of their beauty. This picture is intended to celebrate all that they are -- they are feeders and pacifiers and they are also sensual and erotic. While nursing two children has taken something from their full full high firmness it has also given them something - prior to having children I had inverted nipples. Now I have very sexy (IMO) perma-perks!

So, Moo Moo Moo! Happy HNT!

Hello from vacation! Hahahaha. Not really. I was busy cleaning house on Friday before my family arrived for a visit and hubby snapped this shot. Thought you would all get a laugh! Who cleans their house naked? A mother of two toddlers who had to get in the tub with them before she is done cleaning and who doesn't want to dirty up another set of clothes, that's who! Not very sexy, or, maybe it is... Hubby thought so, "OOOH! A naked Mama cleaning the house. Where's the camera???"

I once thought of getting a tattoo of my beloved Felix the Cat somewhere between my pelvic bone and my pubic bone. He would be diving. Well, Felix isn't exactly diving, but, well...
